Mission & Curriculum
Tradition, Excellence, Bay United SC
Bay United Soccer Club is a competitive youth soccer club located in Panama City, Florida. We are a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3), committed to promoting youth soccer in Northwest Florida. We offer training opportunities through our Academy program (ages 5-10) and competitive program ( ages U10-U18). Our club promotes soccer for both boys and girls. Bay United Soccer Club is a member of FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) which is recognized by the United States Soccer Federation.
The Club has a membership of around 350 competitive players and 50 Academy players. Our club is managed through a great partnership between our Board of Directors, Director of Coaching and numerous volunteers who work together to support Bay United. Our club has established competitive teams starting at U10 and continuing through U18 for both boys and girls. Our goal is to provide the best learning environment for our players as they advance their skills and develop to become better players. Our coaches are licensed and attend continuing education coaching clinics to learn new and fresh ways to teach, motivate and develop our players.
OUR GOAL
Bay United Soccer Club strives to develop each player to their maximum potential by emphasizing fundamentals including:
Foot skills
Sportsmanship
Technical / Tactical skills training
Strategic game planning
Speed-Agility-Quickness
Preparation for the Olympic Development Program (ODP)
Each team will train with licensed coaches who understand the need to build on fundamentals while delivering solid tactical and strategic insight into the game of soccer. Our coaches are nationally licensed and have played and coached at the highest levels. We are home to the 2003 FYSA Girls Coach of the Year, Coach Marek Betkowski.
