Competitive Teams

Is your player ready for a more competitive challenge? Our competitive programs are designed to serve the needs of highly competitive soccer players with advanced skills. Select teams are chosen through tryouts in August. The program is year-long running from August through May and is subdivided into Fall and Spring seasons.

Our Spring season is underway and our Fall 23/24 tryouts will be held May 16th and 18th. More information to follow.

Registration

All players must register online prior to tryouts. If you are new to Bay United SC, create an account first before you register for tryouts. All players must tryout with their birth year.

Tryout Policy

Players shall be evaluated, and selection made in whole or in part based upon the following criteria:

1. Demonstrated soccer skills
2. Physical fitness, including stamina and endurance
3. Coach-ability and development potential
4. Knowledge and understanding of the game
5. Integrity, sportsmanship, and strength of character

We do not recommend that children play up above their FYSA age group. However, we do allow players to request a WAIVER allowing the player to "play up" in accordance with FYSA guidelines. The Play-Up Request Form must be completed prior to first night of tryouts. The age-appropriate coach will notify you of permission to be evaluated in upper division AFTER first night's evaluation.
